Amazon Kindle Fire tablet Sale: Over 250,000 Sold in the Last 5 Days

Unconfirmed reports are suggesting that the total sales of Amazon Kindle Fire tablet would have crossed the 250,000 mark since its launch 5 days ago.Although the first day sale recorded estimate sales of around 100,000 tablets and the sale decreasing in the following days,it comes as an impressive news for Amazon and the tablet industry @ a period where its rivals have not managed to put an impressive show.
Although Kindle Fire may not be an Ipad killer and it cant even come close to Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 or 7+ series which have the capabilities of taking on Apples Ipad,Analysts are impressed with the sales put up by the tablet. When compared to Apple's which sold a whooping 2.5 Million Ipad in a matter of one month with  an average of 80,000 every day compared to Amazons 50,000,its still impressive considering the fact that Motorola's Xoom have sold only 100,000 in the entire month & BlackBerry's playbook, the predecessor of Kindle was also a disaster selling only 5000,000 units in the first quarter.
With Amazon offering Kindle fire @ $ 199 which according to Standards is $ 10 lesser than what must have been the actual price. With  its e-reader Touch failing to make impression as it managed to sell only 32,000 pieces in the last 5 days,Only time will tell how many Kindle will be sold by Amazon. With Galaxy tab making its release on October 26th,things are looking bleak for Kindle.
