Browser War Intensifies: Chrome All Set To Displace FireFox In Market

Chrome is all packed to take on Mozilla's Firefox browser and  become the world's second most widely used Web browser behind Microsoft's Internet Explorer.Stat Counter Analytics predict that Google's Chrome will completely take over Firefox's market by December 2011 which is roughly 3% ahead of Google's Chrome.Chrome currently holds roughly 23.6% of the market share while Mozilla lingers at 23.9.It came as no surprise when Mozilla implemented RAPID RELEASE PROCESS and released its fastest Firefox version(FireFox 7) till date.Internet Explorer still reigns as the dominant Web player in the market snatching almost 41.7% of the Market Share.

This story is similar to that of the battle between Netscape Navigator & Internet Explorer in the 90's which eventually lead to the downfall of the Navigator, which later lead to the establishment of Firefox as an Open source Development under Mozilla. If the growth move forward with the same trend, then Google's Chrome will engulf 26.6% stake in the market where as Firefox sinks to 25.3%.With Chrome already overtaking Firefox in UK this year,it will interesting to watch whether the market trends continue as expected or there is a twist down the line.Another thing to be noted here is that Chrome is the probably the only browser which is exhibiting a positive growth trend while Mozilla's Firefox & Microsoft's Internet Explorer are back-pedaling with 4% & 9% respectively.
Firefox's so called 3 Firefox Versions & the 6 Week development Cycle has been going in the recession mode as expected with has largely being met with more and more negative reviews from Individuals & Business people alike regarding its Add-on Issues & frequent interface incompatibility issues.
