Amazon All Set To Ship Five Million Kindle Fire Tablets in Q4

Amazon Kindle Fire succeeded where other Tablets had failed. With an impressive opening which included over 250,000 pre-order sales in a matter of 5 days,it was just a mere 30,000 behind Apple's iPad.Considering the brand value this was a remarkable feat achieved by Amazon. Now a Supply Chain Analyst,Ashok Kumar had predicted that Amazon's Kindle Fire would probably gross 5 Million by the end of Q4,which would be quite a remarkable feat.
Amazon's aggressive strategy along with the incorporation of its own Digital library rather than using Google's Android platform was a smart & calculated move by Amazon. The figure was arrived at keeping in mind the Holiday season & with the pre-orders itself almost touching half a Million mark. With Kindle Fire being considered as probably the only Tablet Capable enough to take on the Apple iPad,it would be interesting to see what happens if it goes head to head.Although having said that any crippling software or performance issues might come down real hard on Amazon.
Kindle Fire comes with Android 2.3 GingerBread OS along with Amazon digital & retail stores & doesn't have access to Google's Android market.Although it might not feature the plethora of App's which are available in Android market,it atleast has a few classy apps for its users & hopefully they will feel contented by it.Available at $199,the Kindle Fire tablets are expected to be shipped out on November 19th.
