HTC Looses ITC Patent Infringement Complaint To Apple

HTC Looses ITC Patent Infringement Complaint To Apple
Apparently Apple has Angles looking over it as it clinches yet another victory, this time its not Samsung  but is HTC.The International Trade Commission(ITC) in U.S has ruled the verdict in favor of Apple which involved HTC's patent infringement complaint against Apple.HTC literally dragged Apple to the court on the basis of 4 Patent infringement claims & with support from Google & T- Mobile looked destined to win the case as the ball was clearly in its court.Unfortunately Judge Charles Bullock & jury were not quite convinced by this patent violation and so they were negated. The injunction was filed way back in 2010 & it was based on Phone dialing  & Power management.
The Judge & jury found that the patents are not actually invalidated, infact there is not even an instance of violation found on iPhone,iPad or even iPod Touch. With the final hearing stage in February 2012,this is a major set back not only for HTC but for the entire Android Industry because its clearly conveying the message that Apple is moving in to Monopolize the Mobile industry something which would be baneful to the rest. Now HTC suffering the same fate as Samsung,it the only way these two can find their way out of a possible Injunctions might be alter or drop some vital features in their architectures.Or in worst case scenario, take the device off the market itself.Score 3 for Apple with HTC Samsung AT 0.
