Your Honor!Please Ban IPhone 4S Sales in France & Turkey!
This was the golden moment Samsung was waiting all along.Now that Apple had released it Prodigy,the Iphone 4S,Samsung has approached the bench to file an Injunction against the sale of Apple's Iphone in France & Italy with the case of patent Infringement/Violation.With the Apple Vs Samsung saga taking an ugly turn,Samsung sure has pumped up the ante and has already started filing the preliminary injunction suites based on the violating by Apple regarding its WCDMA patents pertaining to 3G.
Samsung had earlier extended the Olive leaf to Apple,so that the Iphone Giant which holds approximately 75% share in the Australian market would allow Samsung's Galaxy Tabs hit the Shelves in the Australian Market.But Apple,anticipating Samsung's galaxy Tab as probably its biggest & formidable rival against the Ipad series has been pressing on the 3 patent violations against Samsung has managed to keep the consumer electronics giant at bay,putting a big question mark over the fate of Galaxy Tab 10.1 which are expected to hit the Australian market on 26th of this month.Not only has Apple rejected the Olive leaf,but it has also managed to force Samsung's Galaxy tab 10.1 to remove a few features from the tablet which was the basis for this Injunction filed by Apple.
Now It looks like Samsung has the ball in its court.Not only does the WCDMA 3G technology a patent owned by Samsung,If Samsung manages to convince the court for copyright violations,then Apple may either have to remove the feature from the Iphone 4S SmartPhone or come into a negotiable terms with Samsung.Removing the feature will render the phone useless as it is a fundamental part of Iphones telecom networks and devices which features intelligence Antenna features are revealed by Apple.
