We all know that Microsoft Intended to buy Yahoo & Co. for a reportedly $ 44.8 Billion way back in 2008.Now with Yahoo currently valued @ roughly $ 18 Billion,a bunch of Companies have shown interest to acquire the Giant which includes the likes of Alibaba & DST Global a Russian investment firm.Now Microsoft also seems to be gunning for this deal once again.The consequence is that there was a sudden Spike in Yahoo's Share market with a supposedly 9% increase,so did Microsoft.
Microsoft has been mum regarding this deal\,but according to Inside sources,it seems that Microsoft might be teaming up with a partner to facilitate this deal.Although nothing has been confirmed as of now,if by chance Microsoft acquires the Advertising Giant,then it will make them stronger than AOL.However not all might be in favor of the deal.With the Brand name & popularity not being what used to be,investing on a growing company might be better than betting on an old horse.With Carol Bartz,Yahoo CEO just fired,news go from bad to worse for Yahoo which is apparently open for sale once again.Who will buy it?
