Google Maps took a revolutionary step by launching the first Ever: Google Maps 3D helicopter View which will provide view of your navigational route.Google Maps 3D will provide as a definite alternative to the birds-eye or top down satellite imagery which currently features only 2D there by allows you to literally do all the navigational work @ your home itself.Similar to the Google earth Map version,albeit much more sophisticated,Google 3D will allows the User to designate the Origin & Destination points & Google map 3D will do the rest as depicted below:
Not only the automatic & legal route followed,but you can pause the animated screen any time to move your view points by using the navigational switch on the Maps top-right corner.Pause N play,dragging the map & even reproduction of even the most complex terrains can be browsed,Pinned onto and stray away from your designated routes and get re-aligned again.Although Google Earth is mandatory for the 3D helicopter view to work,the application is available for free and you can use it just like you accustomed yourself with the previous Satellite 2D Google Map.Happy Navigating!
