Just as details were beginning to emerge regarding a new Nokia Windows Phone to be released in the Q1 of 2012,a new Nokia placeholder App made its appearance in Microsoft's Online marketplace clearly confirming Nokia Ace is ready to make its debut as the First Nokia's Windows edition Mobile Phone.Although the Maps will be pre-loaded in the Nokia's Window Mobile,it is still unclear why Microsoft decided to make its appearance in its Online Store.According to an excerpt from the official description:
"Nokia Maps helps you to be a local anywhere you go. See where you are and discover places nearby in a snap. Get reviews, uncover new destinations and reach them with smart routing for public transport, walking and driving."
Nokia Maps are featured in most of the higher-end Symbian mobile models which provides free navigation solutions powered by Nokia OVI Maps. The same feature is anticipated to make appearance in the Windows version also now that it has been hinted by Microsoft itself. From what can be seen, the Metro GUI feature is bound to make its appearance with larger & much more placeholder features than its Symbian counterparts. The Metro Gui feature is expected to go hand to hand with Nokia's OVI Maps to offer better navigational features. This co-op feature is said to be similar to SFPark technology to feature in Apple's Iphone 5.The Co-op feature will also be able to find out the Least Shortest Route,Bus Route calculations with designated boarding & exodus points along with User submitted data on the Map menu.
