Imagine the consequences of your SmartPhone getting mugged & falling into the wrong hands.Imagine how that person will be able to extract your private information which may range from Mint account,Google Docs,Official Mail & more.Worst case what if they manipulate your Social Networking accounts to trick your friends & unsuspecting people which later comes back to haunt you?
                          A recent survey by Confident Technologies claimed that almost 50 % of the SmartPhone users never lock their phone with a staggering 44% claiming it to be cumbersome to switch it on & off.30% claim they are not bothered about the security issue.All these view comes from people who use their SmartPhone to carry out banking & financial transactions from their Phone directly.
                                                         Fortunately I always keep my Phone my phone locked with the 4 Digit-pin.In any worst case scenario if my phone manages to be stolen,then I want to ensure that it can't be used for any purpose which would later boomerang back @ me.As SmartPhones are becoming the mobile trendsetter and with more & more people using its features to access emails & networks it is putting not only the Individual,but the company at risk as a whole.With the implementation of NFC technologies like Google wallet,which makes your phone as the Digital wallet & similar featuring Apps on the way,if you feel that loosing Phone will be nightmarish now,just wait for a few years.
