Intellectual Ventures,a controversial patent acquisition firm founded by Microsoft's Executive Nathan Myhvoid is current suing Motorola over patent Violations.Intellectual Ventures claims that Motorola Mobility refused to sign license deal which involved the patents pertaining to I.V.The patents were taken over by Google as it bought Moto's Mobility center.Intellectual Ventures claim that the patents which was legally held by it,which includes a file transfer system,an illumination & image projection apparatus,on portable computer,communication & entertainment device with a CPU carried in a detachable hansdet.
Intellectual Ventures doesn't actually hold the patents,but it actually buys them & sells them to the highest bidder.With the company investing almost $ 400 Million Dollars in patents and makes a ROI of $ 2Billion.With many companies calling Intellectual Ventures a patent threat,it is all set to take Moto to the bench & settle the dispute.If Intellectual Ventures manages to win,then they will press for Attorney fees and damages along with an stay which will claim that Motorola can't engage in any patent infringements.
