Google Chrome Download Exceeds 200 Million

There are approximately 200M Google Chrome users all over the globe as claimed by Google's CEO Larry Paige during Google's Q4 announcement.Although its not known how many of the 200M downloads have actually being used as of now,the number is pretty impressive.With Google Chrome overtaking Firefox in U.K in July,to become the second most widely used web browser after Internet Explorer,& Chrome looking to overtake Firefox by the end of 2011,as the worlds second best browser things can't just get any sweeter than this

Google To Launch Its Own Music Store?

With Amazon MP3 store being an indubitable part of Android's music platform,the Android fanatics have a plethora of options when it comes to music.Apart from Amazon MP3,there are also stack loads of 3rd party stores available which offer music free of charge or as a premium service.Now that Google is going head on with Amazon using its Cloud based Google Music as the Arsenal.In addition it seems that,Google might actually has plans to implement a Google Music Store similar to the Apple's iTunes & Amazons.This direct sales model will be implemented in the cloud services and will feature a complete all-in-one MP3 store.

                                              Although this wont be the first time Google has engaged in direct media sales,Google eBooks & Android Movie rentals are some of the earlier projects where Google had utilized the same concept.With the Google Music launch to be expected soon we might see a beta release happening in the upcoming months.The only thing Google needs to worry about brokering the deal with the Label companies,as last time when Google planned to implement Music locker service it hit crossroads as the Label companies refused to comply with  Google's Terms & Conditions.Hopefully Google will modify its TOS in order to entice the Label company just like what Microsoft did for its XBOX Live features.

                                             If Google Music manages to get the media right,then it could cast a devastating spell over Amazon & Apple's iTunes.Although it might not be possible to overcome the iTunes giant within a matter of months,better competition means better products & deals along with more packages for the same denomination.Although not confirmed,we just might hear something regarding the Google Music store during the Samsung & Google- Nexus & Ice Cream Sandwich event on October 19th in Hong Kong.
