More Android games coming to Hit retail stores IN Holiday Season

Game Pro has revealed that there might be more games for you in the Android SmartPhones thanks to the Developer Conglomerate IndiePub.They have already started selling cards with downloadable codes which can be used to redeem a few games similar to Apple's iTunes or Amazon's MP3 gift store certificate. These All-stars cards from IndeiPub must be available during the Holiday season coming up.Each of these cards will go on a myriad of locations all over U.S & Canada including Target, Toys 'R' Us, Sam's Club, Rogers Mobile etc to name a few.each will cost upto $10 using along with a redeem code which will activate the Android games available for download in the compatible devices. The advantage of store-bought games isn’t immediately apparent for a mobile populace used to fully digital distribution.
IndiePub is apparently trying to exploit the clear & present weakness in the Android market as there is no way to gift an app or game to someone a feature present in retailers like PlaySpan,Apple's iOS store & also not to mention Steam too.So now there will be 3 cards scheduled to release during the Holiday season as shown below:
  • Android All Stars Volume 1:These will include games like Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, Sally's Spa and several others.
  • Android All Stars Volume 2: These will feature Kona's Crate, Guerilla Bob, Free Kicks Soccer, Backbreaker Football and others.
  • Android All Stars Volume 3:This will be an Atari special which will include over 100 classic games from Atari.
Each card is expected to packed with atleast 10 games from major publishers which makes it a better deal rather than spending the entire $10 on a single game.Or better gift it to your loved ones or buddies who has got his/her first Android SmartPhone. The games will be available at IndiePub rather than the Android Market.

The Android fans are in for a treat this time.RockStar games, the makers of the Platinum sellers which includes Grand Theft Auto series,Max Payne,LA Noire & more have announced the arrival of Grand Theft Auto III in the Android SmartPhones & Tablets.Released almost 10 years ago in playstation2,Xbox & Pc platforms, the game is finally being ported into the Android Platform which hints that the remaining GTA series might also get featured in the Android.

Being Credited as the first of its kind to feature a Sandbox style gameplay, rather than the linear gameplay, the game was an overnight hit & its successors actually held the record for the fastest selling game for almost 2 years. Its anticipated that the android version will need some pretty good hardware to render the game without any Hiccups & there are rumors for the game to be a Samsung Galaxy S II or Galaxy tab 10.1 exclusive.Ofcourse you can also expect an iOS version to roll out too.

Android Gaming: After Angry Birds, Burn the City Looks To Dominate Android Gaming Market

For those you who detest Angry Birds & are looking for a complete destruction & total anarchy based game then Burn the City might just be the best Android game for you.Based on destroy-everything-in-your-way category gaming,Burn the city offers you 100% mayhem & destruction. The controls are slightly different from the Angry Bird kind, but you'll get a hang of it once you accustom yourself with it.The game is already making waves among Android fanatics and we'll give you a small walkthrough:

The Antagonist cum protagonist is as a cute green monster, who upon discovering that all his siblings have been kidnapped by Humans, decides to unleash Hell and will attempt to nuke anything which dares to stand in its part to anarchy.Your main mission is to wipe out the Human installments one by one/level By Level & free your Siblings. The game is based on Player adaptive gameplay where the gameplay becomes more & more tougher as the player advances during the gameplay unlike Angry Birds which was based on mixture of tough N easy missions. So Destroy the Defenses, burn the city to ground and on the way collect various Power capsules which will boost your Arsenal strength by upgrading the fireballs & Oh and hey Tnt's are also available to knock out ground defenses.
Controls are touch driven obviously where you need to click on your monster and select the appropriate projectile trajectory for your fire-ball.The game has pretty flat graphic features with room for improvement although, the sound effects give you a Godzilla theme and effects can be classified from being hideous to scary @ times. With only 45 levels and available @ just $ .99 with better and more updated Arsenal features to appear in the future, this is definitely a game you must lay your hands upon. You can get the latest version from the Android market Here
