Galaxy Nexus GLBenchmark Leaked:Doesn't Look Impressive

Just a few hours away from being Unveiled,the Samsung Galaxy Nexus's GLBenchmark results are out and truth to be told its not outstanding,Not even close to Samsung Galaxy S II.Nexus has been playing the tempestress game from the very beginning Wooing its fanatic & also its officially credited as the very first smartPhone to come with Google's Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s definitely running Android 4.0, is referred to as different types of tuna, and is again appearing as the Galaxy Nexus.The resolution in the benchmark is noted as 1196×720 which indicates that on-screen buttons are 84×720 and were present during the test.Along with a HD (1280×720) display and sporting a processor clocked at 1.2GHz,the phone is all set to be unveiled in the Google Samsung Event To be held in Hong Kong on October 26th

Samsung Galaxy Nexus To Hit Canda Soon

We all know what day it is today: it is Google Ice Cream Sandwich and Samsung Nexus Prime day! To be quite honest, the date is October 19 in Hong Kong which translates to 9:30 p.m. today on the east coast and 6:30 p.m. on the west coast.
                                      "The coolest Samsung smartphone will be coming to Canada soon", says text in the ending of an e-mail Samsung Canada is sending out. The rest of the message talks about Ice Cream Sandwich so it's pretty easy to figure out that they're talking about the rumored (and highly anticipated) Nexus Prime. "Additional information regarding launch date and availability" is expected "in the coming weeks". That should clear up some (American) exclusive CDMA rumors (Verizon)!

NTT DoCoMo To Receive Galaxy Nexus By November

Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo has prematurely confirmed Google and Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus, the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone, set to be officially revealed in a few hours time in Hong Kong. According to the carrier’s tweet, NTT DoCoMo will be “among the first” to launch the Galaxy Nexus, expected to take place at some point in November.
                                          Unfortunately there’s no specification detail included, which means we only have the previously leaked and rumored data to go on. That’s suggested a 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED HD display, curved chassis and 1.5GHz dual-core processor, along with NFC, high-speed cellular connectivity and an 8-megapixel camera with Full HD video recording.NTT DoCoMo does have an LTE network, so it’s possible the Nexus Prime could pack 4G too. There have been rumors of a Verizon exclusivity deal in the US, though so far unconfirmed, but that might imply that the Nexus Prime would be a World Phone, like the iPhone 4S, combining CDMA and GSM/UMTS support.

(ICS)Ice Cream Sandwich Email, Gmail And Calendar Widget Apparently Leaked

With just a day to go,Ice Cream Sandwich is once again in the news,this time due to alleged leak of some of the widgets which includes the Calendar & Email especially Gmail widget.Unfortunately we are still not eligible for any downloads.Guess we gotta wait for some more time and also it appears that Ice Cream Sandwich is mandatory for these widgets to work.The images below offer you a compare & contrast scenario where you can see the improvements & changes implemented in the ICS on par with the previous hot head,HoneyComb.

Calendar:

 The calendar seems to be much more sharper & sports a really cool appointment menu's,with the absence of border this time around & will also will feature font modifications which would be aptly balanced for better reading/viewing & less space utilization.Pretty Cool!

 Email & Gmail:

                                                     As you can the see that Email & Gmail looks almost identical & there appears to be an absence of label which is a bit staggering,although its still confirmed whether or not the messages will feature labels themselves.Lets just hope that it manages to find its way into the widget. No Ice Cream Sandwich For White Samsung Galaxy S II

As of now there are no devices which has been officially confirmed to be running or to run of Google's latest Android V4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. A YouTube video was spotted which claimed to be that of Google's Ice Cream Sandwich last week which featured new interfaces & apps which we all expect to be shipped with Ice Cream Sandwich which would be unveiled in the Google/Samsung Event on October 19th in Hong Kong.

                                                            Last month we had a few fake Ice Cream Sandwich launchers or home screens emerge & as of now only 2 apps-Google Music & Android market are the officially confirmed Apps to feature in the Ice Cream Sandwich & those versions are already leaked and available for download.It might be prudent to note here that the absence of the settings menu is one of the fundamental indicators of the fact that this might be just another fake which is also supported by the complete lack of on-screen navigation buttons.
                                                     This doesn't necessarily mean that Ice Cream Sandwich wont find its way into the existing SmartPhones.As soon as Google releases the Ice Cream Sandwich code as an open source we are destined to see some modified ICS to appear for the Nexus & Galaxy S II SmartPhones.With the Google & Samsung Event to unveil Galaxy nexus along with Ice Cream Sandwich,we can expect Google to make some startling revelations which would ultimately put a stop the rumors surrounding ICS.
                                                                     

Ice Cream Sandwich To Feature built-in photo editor :Bring Pictures To Life

Google's Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to be unveiled along with Samsung's Galaxy Nexus during the Samsung Google event in Hong Kong on October 19th.It appears that Ice Cream Sandwich might actually be packaged with an inbuilt photo editor tool capable to bring pictures to life.Although its not yet confirmed,but some snooping around Ice Cream Sandwich creamy center has revealed what appears to be a set of icons or features in the Android Gallery as shown below

                                      The background of the images have been changed to black so that you can clearly see what each of them stands for.There also appears to be a slider for the color buttons & also there is a new slider called Generic whose purposes are still cryptic.The icons are expected to be docked to the screen the whole time where the appropriate icon performs the suggested action.This feature is expected to be packaged into the Google APK so we can expect to feature Edit button everytime you view your images.There are about 19 different & unique photo effects which are pretty much similar to the blending modes in Photoshop.Purpose of Generic is however still unknown.Take a peak at the various blending modes below:

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE HD/SHV-E120L Clears FCC Certification:

Just as we anticipated,the Google Samsung event is all set to go live on October 19th 2011 in Hong Kong as I had we had anticipated,where Google will be unveiling the latest Android V.4.0 Codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich where as Samsung will be unveiling the much rumored Galaxy Nexus.Now just days before the launch it appears that another Samsung Galaxy Series phone with the model name SHV-E120L has apparently cleared the FCC.A little digging up has confirmed the phone as Samsung Galaxy S II LTE HD.After a brief Hiatus of almost a month,the SmartPhone once again appears in the news as Samsung Galaxy S II LTE HD expected to be shipped to Korea,although there is still no news regarding the U.S release.

                                                 Samsung Galaxy S II which is considered as probably the fastest Android SmartPhone,wento to shatter sales records as it managed to accumulate well over 10Million unit sales world wide,also with some rumors of Samsung Galaxy S III already spreading,its nice to see that Samsung has decided not to abstain itself from subsequent launches.Now with Galaxy Nexus rolling out on October 16th,things are looking pretty sleek for Samsung.

Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound Spotted In Leaked Verizon List: For $299

With just mere days left for the  the Google Samsung Event featuring Galaxy Nexus & Ice Cream Sandwich,we would probbaly know the phone details & s.After making appearance in Verizon's & Best Buy's CelleBrite list,Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound were spotted once again in Verizon's list indicating that the devices might be heading for the Verizon store on November 10th.

                                                  With the Google & Samsung Event to be held in Hong Kong on October 19th,Tuesday,the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is credited to be the first phone to run on Google's latest Android V4.0 codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich.Samsung Galaxy was first spotted as a result of a YouTube video & then later on followed by some bits & pieces of Information,also Google's Ice Cream Sandwich also couldn't keep itself out out of the news.
                                                 HTC's Rezound,more commonly known as Vigor is a 4G LTE device just like Galaxy Nexus.The phone comes with a 720p video recording along with a top of the line 1.5GHz dual core processor.HTC Rezound also had its own share of leaks & tidbits with the latest being spotted @ Verizon's Cellebrite.
                                                 Although the date mentioned might not necessarily be a launch date,but wouldn't be surprised to see the device hit the shelves at the market price.According to previous rumors the phone was expected to hit the shelves anywhere in between October 20th & November3rd.There is very high chance of being able to see the Unveiling of Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime Live in Hong Kong on October 19th.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime Spotted At Best Buy

Samsung's galaxy Nexus Prime just can't keep itself from the spotlight.With the unveiling event scheduled on October 19th in Hong Kong where Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Nexus & Google will roll out the latest installment in Android Ice Cream Sandwich,Samsung Galaxy Nexus was spotted at Verizon's Device management/Cellebrite system.Now it has apparently found itself in the Best Buys's Cellebrite system.Which begs the question whether Galaxy Nexus going to be a Best Buy Exclusive just like Galaxy S?

From the Screenshot below,it can be seen that the Phone name is displayed as Nexus prime although,we have solid evidence that the device name is Galaxy Nexus.It was earlier assumed that Galaxy Nexus might be released as  a Verizon Exclusive,now its appearance in Best Buy kinda puts a stop to it.Now that the chances of it being an exclusive is almost Zero,we can expect other carriers to also feature in Samsung's elite list as the phone enters the pre-order phase.

                                                       The thing which troubles me is why Verizon has not been mentioned anywhere in Google's Ice Cream Sandwich event & also the Samsung Nexus event too.Also since the unveiling is happening in Hong Kong,it can be inferred that the Exclusivity might actually end up with Best Buy rather than Verizon.But who knows now that the Big Red is busy with the Motorola event coming up its going to be an action packed Android week this time around.Don't miss the event.
