Android games Including Angry Bird Featured On TouchPad CyanogenMod7

Now that the CyanogenMod 7 for TouchPad has been released,a 1o minute has been made available which boasts TouchPad's gaming capabilities & has received positive reviews from most. With more & more people getting their hands on the CM7 for TouchPad,almost everyone has been glued to their tablets & are already in on the action.unfortunately the resolution issues & buggy nature of the Alpha release might be detrimental, but nevertheless no one would have had so much fun since the release of the TouchPads.
Android games Including Angry Bird Featured On TouchPad CyanogenMod7
According to the video, the CM7 will feature ten of the most popular Android games which includes:Angry Birds (natch), Asphalt 5, Destinia, Dungeon Defenders, Fieldrunners HD, Guitar Hero 5, Pinball Deluxe, Robo Defense, TurboFly 3D, Wixed Lite and Zenonia 3.There were some pretty big hiccups while running some of the games especially Asphalt 5 which refused to load. The most irritating part is the TouchPad's 1024 * 768 screen resolution which is definitely a standard Android screen size which would hinder the gaming experience.

Technically speaking you are actually running Android games in TouchPad which is best suited for the Android SmartPhones & Tablets so there might be some irregularities which you can expect to be fixed by the CM7 team as they will be releasing future updates.Wonder what will happen if Ice Cream Sandwich gets ported to TouchPad.

Latest HP TouchPad Receives Clearance From FCC

Either HP has no plans to shutdown the TouchPad anytime soon or they are playing with our minds.A recent transcript was available @ FCC which appears to be the latest version of the now defunct HP TouchPad.HP,who is currently in a lot of turmoil with the fate of the PSG division in Limbo, new CEO,this comes as a surprising albeit weird news. The paperwork found @ FCC discloses that the device has bluetooth & wi-fi support along with a manufacturer model number:HSTNH-I31C,which might appear to be HP's TouchPad Go,a miniature version of TouchPad7.If the news is true, then we can assume that the WebOs is not dead as we had expected. With the absence of 3G feature, this might be a mini version of TouchPad Go with no extra features like camera or state of the art features.Hope HP will make announcement on this pretty soon.

HP Launches Investigation Into HP Android tablets

Classic story,Wrong place @ the wrong time.HP has launched an investigation after apparently some HP tablets came with Google's Android OS rather than the WebOs.With HP phasing out WebOs,the investigation will not probably incur a lot of cost, but HP is determined to find how Tablet users found Android OS rather than WebOs.With developers working continuously trying to port the Android into the Touchpad, now that there is no WebOs for now, wonder how much customer care support will be provided by HP.
"We presently believe that some person or persons unknown may have facilitated the delivery of these Android-based units strictly against the policy and authorization of HP," Robb wrote
HP has also claimed that it hasn't authorized any Tablets to be distributed shipped with HP's touchPad.The dev's have approached QualComm since some versions of the Os flashes the QuIC logo. With the investigation going in the reverse engineering process,it wouldn't surprise me if the entire thing is exposed as a unilateral wet dream.

HP To Seal The Fate of Its PC Division This Month End

Hewlett Packard Co. will make its decision to whether or not pull the plugs on the PC division will be made by the company CEO, Meg Whittman. The fate of the so called Personal Systems Group's,otherwise known as PC division of HP,fate will be decided by the end of the month rather than prolonging the process.Whether HP decides to Spin-off its Pc division is yet to seen, but the $ 41 billion division which has been considered as world's largest PC maker from a financial perspective the PSG has not been able to live upto its standards especially in the last 2 years with its stocks plummeting down.
With HP planning to focus more into Software & service domain,& HP Phasing out WebOs things are not going in the right direction for HP.With the discontinuation of the Tablet,HP's options are pretty much limited now.Incase HP decides to Spin-Off the PSG division the it will take ateast 12 months to 18 months to complete the process.
"With regard to the potential spinoff of PSG, we're committed to doing work right now to determine the best path forward and we expect the board to make a determination by the end of the calendar year if not sooner," Whitman told investors and analysts last month. "This decision is solely based on the value to and investors and value to customers.
Hewlett Packard's employees better get over the "post traumatic syndrome" after witnessing company successions and better be prepared for the inevitable. This just might be the beginning of the end of HP's historic PSG.
