DROID BIONIC SOURCE CODE/Kernel Released By Motorola

DROID BIONIC SOURCE CODE/Kernel Released By Motorola
This comes as great news for the ROM enthusiasts now that Droid Bionic's Kernel code has been released as open source by Motorola which can be obtained here. The 4G LTE radio device can be rebuilt or remodded using the code & also push it to the limits.Hopefully this means more good news for the large myriad of Bionic users who had a very tough time with the glitches & issues associated with Droid Bionic as a result of the Customization of the Phone under the Verizon.
The smartPhone also appears to be running behind the subsequent GingerBread update & hopefully we might see an official version made available for download. But for now we appeal the Boot loaders to provide us with some sort of stable alternative now that the Kernel itself is released.Yet its not clear whether Motorola will also release its Propriety Kernel or Source code. This slims the chances of us seeing any CyanogenMods for this device any time soon.Hope the G-Men in Google can help us in releasing the Kernel /Source codes of upcoming Motorola handsets including the most anticipated Droid RAZR.
With the Motorola Verizon Event to Kick off today at New York at 12:00 P.M  whcih would be featuring the DROID RAZR along with the next XOOM & more, the coveted DROID RAZR makes a full appearance for the first time thanks to the Release site,we will look forward to hear any announcements from Motorola regarding its future Kernel/Source Code Releases.

Motorola DROID RAZR Revealed Completely For The First Time

We may have seen Motorola DROID RAZR make appearance here & there, but have you seen but not with a complete shot or a 3D shot which would really give a good idea as to what we can expect from this 4G Prodigy. It wasn't clear how sleek this SmartPhone is going to be,but thanks to the Reveal site we now have a fully enlarged image of Motorola DROID RAZR as shown below:

It appears that the final piece of the puzzle has been solved and those worthy to see it has got their moments. With the Motorola Verizon Event,to be held in New York where it goes live @ 12:00P.M,thanks to the Reveal site we had the wonderful opportunity to see this visual treat of this slim device which is probably the slimmest & least bulky 4G radio device ever. The image is just outstanding & truth to be told I really cant wait for the event.
The Motorola DROID RAZR is expected to sport a 4.3 Inches qHD screen along with 1.2GHz dual core processor under its hood. This SmartPhone also features a 4G radio where the number 42 appears in the teaser video indicating that it just might be the pragmatic speed for the DROID mobile.Featuring four capacitive buttons,we can expect the GingerBread to be pre-packaged although we can always hope or rather expect an Ice Cream Sandwich to be made available for the SmartPhone now that Motorola is an integral part of the Google family. The SmartPhone definitely shows off a kevlar architecture as it was seen when it was leaked a few days back.Tune in at 12:00 PM EST to see the coverage of the Motorola Verizon Event. You can watch the video below:

Motorola Droid RAZR Tipped To Be Faster Than Iphone 4S

Samsung's Galaxy Nexus is probably one SmartPhone which has managed to keep itself alive in the news via rumors & leaks. Now according to the latest report,Nexus might not be the only phone you gotta watch out for. With the Motorola Verizon event just around the corner, all eyes will be on the Motorola Spyder or more commonly known as DROID RAZR.
According to ground zero report,it seems that DROID RAZR will be featuring a 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor with a full 1GB stick of RAM,which might make it more powerful than Apple's iPhone 4S which managed to beat Samsung's Galaxy S II fair & Square.Credited as the thinnest LTE phone ever made,DROID RAZR comes with a 4.3 Inch screen with qHD screens as we have already seen in DROID BIONIC & DROID X2.Also with Nexus being spotted at Verizon's device management list , it might not be surprising if Verizon is to be the Exclusive carrier for Galaxy Nexus,Droid Razr & the other smartphones.
The 4.3 Inch screen with qHD screens along with Gorilla glass for anti-scratch & this just might not be the thinnest SmartPhone but also the fastest ever too.It will be very interesting to Benchmark both DROID & iPhone 4S face to face & I just cant wait for it.Although its till not sure whether DROID is a better or Nexus but one thing you can assure about rumors is that it will get you pumped up.And as per me the likelihood of this being a rumor is minimal.Check out the DROID RAZR teaser video below:

Motorola XOOM 4G LTE Upgrades Delayed:Still In Progress

After a wait of 7 months, the Verizon XOOM users finally received information regarding the upgrades needed to enable 4G LTE in XOOM.But when Motorola's promised that the upgraded device will be returned to the users within 6 Business days,it seems that the users had to wait a bit longer than that with some of them yet to receive it only after 14 days as per the email received. The following mail excerpt was made available:
Dear Michael,
We wanted to let you know that we are still in the process of completing your upgrade. We apologize for the delay and will send you an additional notification once the device has shipped early this week.
Sincerely,
Motorola Mobility Customer Services
We will let you know if we received additional details.
To be honest I anticipated this to happen. When Motorola announced that there will be hardware upgrade to the XOOM device it obviously meant that device had to be shipped to Motorola & even though with the mediocre sale of the XOOM device, its amazing its taking so long to open up the device & change the hardware & ship it back.

“Faster, Thinner, Smarter Stronger” :Motorola -Verizon Tag Line for October 18 Event.New Verizon Devices Expected

Motorola along with Verizon has announced at a press conference that it plans to unveil its next big Innovation at the Motorola Verizon event to be held on October 18th in New York.Although the details are bleak, but given the plethora of leaks there's very few possibility of any new device being launched which gave us the slip.Moto's tagline- “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger.”-might be hinting at the RAZR brand, although there are enough SmartPhone & Tablet rumors circling.
For the Tablets,it seems Motorola is readying the new XOOM tablets for a November release.Expected to come with a fresh, angular design it is expected to come with Verizon's 4G LTE.With a possibility of Moto's biggest & best merchandise going on display, the XOOM 2 & the XOOM media Edition are the foremost contenders to be unveiled where as the XOOM Family edition on a chaser.
For the SmartPhone, there's the ATRIX 2 which promises to be based on the earlier ATRIX 4G with a 4.3 Inch qHD display ,along with dual core processor and a new stylish Bionic lapdock style which transforms the SmartPhone into a notebook replacement. The tempestuous DROID RAZR which fits the tag line perfectly might be a strong contender along with ATRIX 2 .Droid is expected to have a super slim profile along with a dual core architecture with 4G LTEfull HD video and with 960 * 540 Pixels resolution. So the Moto plans to unveil on October might be cryptic right now,but we can trust the snoopers to dig up info's then & there and we'll keep you posted.
