Galaxy Nexus Images Leaked Before Samsung Google Event

The Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Samsung Galaxy Nexus/Nexus Prime event is just around the corner but here's something to get you through the next twelve hours of waiting. The image above together with the specs below are allegedly as close to official as possible as they come from Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo.

As you can see, the phone pictured above is the same with the one surfaced in real life shots and the side of the device is nothing else than what Samsung teased in its video, with the four connectors and the curved design.

Specs-wise, the Galaxy Nexus will reportedly sport a Texas Instruments OMAO 4460 1.2GHz dual-core processor helped by the PowerVR SGX 540 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of ROM, 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 720 x 1280 resolution, NFC, five-megapixel main camera, 1.3-megapixel webcam, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi a/b/g/n and a 1750 mAh battery plus notification LED.

Powering it will be, as expected, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the phone will be codenamed (as we've previously seem) "Tuna"/"Tuna 4G". It will weight approximately 135 grams and measure 136.0 x 68.0 x 8.8 mm with 11.5 mm at its thickest part, the hump on the back. Now let's wait and see the official announcement! Excited yet?

No Ice Cream Sandwich For White Samsung Galaxy S II

As of now there are no devices which has been officially confirmed to be running or to run of Google's latest Android V4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. A YouTube video was spotted which claimed to be that of Google's Ice Cream Sandwich last week which featured new interfaces & apps which we all expect to be shipped with Ice Cream Sandwich which would be unveiled in the Google/Samsung Event on October 19th in Hong Kong.
No Ice Cream Sandwich For White Samsung Galaxy S II
Last month we had a few fake Ice Cream Sandwich launchers or home screens emerge & as of now only 2 apps-Google Music & Android market are the officially confirmed Apps to feature in the Ice Cream Sandwich & those versions are already leaked and available for download. It might be prudent to note here that the absence of the settings menu is one of the fundamental indicators of the fact that this might be just another fake which is also supported by the complete lack of on-screen navigation buttons.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Ice Cream Sandwich wont find its way into the existing SmartPhones. As soon as Google releases the Ice Cream Sandwich code as an open source we are destined to see some modified ICS to appear for the Nexus & Galaxy S II SmartPhones. With the Google & Samsung Event to unveil Galaxy nexus along with Ice Cream Sandwich,we can expect Google to make some startling revelations which would ultimately put a stop the rumors surrounding ICS.

Ice Cream Sandwich's Launcher Discovered on Motorola's Droid Bionic SamrtPhone

Google's Android V4.0 codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich is probably the next best thing in the Android Industry & was expected to be unveiled along with Samsung's Galaxy Nexus/prime.With Samsung & Google later revealing that the Unveiling has been pushed to October 26th,more & more news & leaks regarding the two have been appearing here and there. The Ice Cream Sandwich is claimed to combine all the advanced features of Android's v3.0 codenamed HoneyComb in the Tablets & TV versions and take it to the next step.Integrating all three versions into one Ice Cream Sandwich is called the mother of all androids, which will eventually be powering the Smartphones/tablets & other devices in the upcoming months the latest one being the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime.

Motorola has been Google official Android launch partner which run on the HoneyComb OS.Being a launch partner has its own perks as you are the first ones to get the codes on anything new than anyone in the world can.You are also expected to stick to your patent guidelines & cant load/tweak the launcher. It appears that the same launcher which came along with XOOM tablet has manged to find its way on the Droid Bionic SmartPhone. This is the case when you try to dock a new item to the start screen on XOOM,as it is followed by a light-blue grid of plus signs then by a glow which indicates how the icon might look like once dropped. The bottomline,Droid Bionic also has those features.Take a look @ the following video:
Are you thinking what I am thinking?Could this be the Ice Cream Sandwich Launcher?Feel free to post your comments and discuss

Nexus Update: Samsung and Google’s Galaxy Nexus Prime Rumored for October 27th

Google & Samsung enthusiasts had the shock of the year when Google & Samsung announced a joined statement that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus & Ice cream Sandwich will not feature on Samsung's CTIA event to be held on october 11th as a mark of respect for the late Steven p.Jobs.Now it seems that the release date might have been rescheduled to October 27th.With Eric Schmidt of Google revealing that the Google fanatics might need beyond November for the good news,it seems that the news is likely to be true. The mark of respect showed by the duo of Google & Samsung was highly appreciated worldwide. With the event being shifted there may be more rumors circling all over the internet regarding Nexus & Android 4.0 code named Ice Cream Sandwich & by the time the device is actually released we might have a pretty good approximation ourself & are less likely to surprised unlike Apple who always managed to keep us guessing.
