Apple Order 7.85" Suspected To be iPad Mini

The rumors are flying all over the place about what Apple might have up its sleeve for the next iPad. We keep hearing rumors that there will be a smaller screen iPad called the iPad mini surface. We have also heard the rumor that the iPad mini will be cheaper, but not smaller. The latest rumor comes from the supply chain and claims that LG display and AU Optronics have both sent samples of screens to Apple according to the rumors.\

The screen samples are supposed to be 7.85-inches. This rumor bothers me on a couple levels. With the recent death of Steve jobs, who always said a 7-inch didn’t make a lot of sense would Apple roll out a smaller screen tablet? It wouldn’t be the first time Apple did something that Jobs said didn’t make sense or wouldn’t happen though. It would make more sense to us to see a tablet the same size as the current one with less storage and cheaper hardware.
Apple has been throwing money at suppliers to get the price of the hardware inside down. Still, the suppliers in the latest rumor claim that the smaller tablet will have a 7.85-inch panel with the same resolution as the current iPad 2. The sources also claim that the specs have been set already by Apple and the tablet will ship next year.

Modified iOS 5 gesture bait & switch frustrates iPad users

There will be lots & lots of smiling faces as those who had pre-ordered the iPhone 4S would have received their covetted iPhone. Also with the iOS 5 released a couple of days before which has apparently been a success also it went down in history as Apple's biggest Software launch in Apple's history. Now with iOS 5 gathering feedback from users regarding their experience, its not a walk in the park for Apple as some of the reviews received are a bit castigating.
It appears that the multitasking gestures which was promised for the first generation iPad in the iOS5 have been apparently phased out. Also Apple intended to make updates to both UK & International Feature pages where it was claimed that first Gen iPad users can now hide/reveal the multitasking bar using 4 or 5 fingers & a pinch would be sufficient to return back to the home screen & a swipe to the left or right will enable transitions between the Apps.
As a result of this several enraged customers have already filling up in the Apple customer support forum & Apple has refrained from addressing this issue Publicly ,but has started to remove some of the posts from user forum & started to make amends to the US website. The primary reason for this frustration among iPad users is that the multitasking feature was working fine for them when iPad was running on iOS4.3 using an Xcode Hack & now it has been rendered useless by the latest iOS5.Complete Irony!

Google's HoneyComb Sales No Where Near Apple iPad

Apple's iPad still occupy the throne when it comes to the Tablet industry when Samsung & Google's HoneyComb has failed to impress the masses thereby has been a failure.Although the actual Android sales data is not available, experts claim that Android Tablets are currently in no form to take on the Apple giant.
With Google revealing its Q3 reports,Google's Larry Paige has claimed that around 190M Android devices are currently active. Also as per the platform reports, there are about 1.8 Android devices which had accessed the Android market in the last 14 days running on Android vesions 3.0,3.1,3.2 & there was approximately 38.2% devices running on GingerBread 2.3.3 & above.Merge all of those stat & Viola 3.4M units.
Although this number might be vary as this includes only Google Certified Tablets ie,the ones which are officially permitted to access the Android market. There are others which fail to qualify here which includes alternate versions of Android & third party stores like Amazon App for Android etc.
Even if those numbers are inlcuded they wont be big enough to take on the primitive iPad itself. The first generation iPad sold well over 15M in its opening year where as Google & its business partners are waaaaay behind & we can officially brand HoneyComb as a FAILURE!

iPad 3 Rumored To Be In Development Phase

At a time when Apple customers are finally getting their hands on the Apple's iPhone 4S,it seems that Apple has secretly started working on its latest Tablet Prodigy-iPad3.It appears that the iPad3 might have already entered the development phase as we speak right now as claimed by Financial Analyst Jeff Fidacaro. He claims that as per the supply chain,Apple is actually building up its fourth quarter iPad builds to between 12 and 14 million from between 11 million and 13 million.Jeff had quoted:
“Since our last month supply chain checks we are now seeing 600,000 to 1 million iPad 3 builds showing up on the plan for the fourth quarter of calendar 2011,”
So if the details are correct we can expect Apple to unveil iPad3 around March 2012,probably around the same time iPad2 was unveiled.
