AT&T HTC HD7S Receives Mango Update

This comes as great news for AT &T HTC HD7S users as they are finally eligible for the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update for their Windows SmartPhones.It was claimed earlier that the Mango update for HTC HD7S would probably would be phased out and was thought to be real as it came from an internal AT &T memo.While HTC HD7S users have something to cheer about,Samsung Focus second revision is yet to receive its Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update as well.Its expected to arrive around October end.

AT&T HTC HD7S To Receive Mango Update Today

AT&T HTC HD7S will be receiving its Windows Phone 7.5 mango update as expected.This was based on a mail which was unearthed from an internal memo @ AT & T and it reads:

                         "On October 11, 2011, Microsoft is scheduled to begin rolling out the new Mango 7720 update to AT&T customers with existing HTC HD7S Windows Phone 7 devices". Make sure your Zune software is up to date and wait for an update notification (or might as well manually check for the refresh). Let us know if you've got some official Mango!

                                     AT&T has signed off on its HTC HD7S testing and plans to roll out the Mango update to existing devices on Tuesday October 11.Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango” update contains over 500 new features. The software maker has included an updated HTML5 Internet Explorer 9 browser, multitasking and built in Facebook and Windows Live Messenger support.
