How to Speedup and Stabilize Firefox by Removing Add-ons

The Biggest problem with Mozilla's Firefox has been the instability with the Add-ons especially the toolbars. With Mozilla planning to implement a new feature in Firefox 8 that would prevent the installation of unapproved add-ons.These Add-ons & extensions like greasemonkey are the ones which have been slowing down Firefox & causing stuttering & memory related issue leading to frequent crashes.Even if you had uninstalled the add-ons due to some weird bug its registries are still available within Firefox & will be executed everytime you use it leading to stability issues. So bottom line is more Add-ons more issues.
The only way to remove the unnecessary files is to remove the add-ons from the prefs.js file in Firefox.Although this might be a bit tricky, all you gotta do is followed the instructions carefully & we can identity & remove them one by one.Lets take a look @ the steps involved:
Step1)Enter about:support in Firefox address bar and hit the enter button.under application basics, click Open Containing folder option to access the profile directory and exit firefox.
Step2) In this folder, find & locate the prefs.js & open it using Notepad/Wordpad or anyother suitable editor as shown below:

Step3)Now go through the entries one by one and find the one corresponding to the add-on which you want to remove as shown below:
Now that the unwanted profiles are removed, you will definitely see a better response from Firefox altogether.Incase of any issues feel free to comment & I will get back @ you.
